Paper art on handmade paper can be custom ordered in any
size. The handmade paper is decorated with dried algae,
each as different as the seaweed washed ashore the beach. These are
available in 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, 4 x 5 , and 5 x 7. Elizabeth
collects her seaweed from non-protected areas along the beaches of San
Diego. Framed Japanese Paper with embedded bamboo or other
natural material is also available. These are framed in two pieces of glass to show off it's
beautiful transparency. Kozo is the most common of the Japanese
papermaking fibers. It comes from the inner bark of shoots of Kozo
(Paper Mulberry) plant. This is offered in 5 x 7 and 8 1/2 x 11.
